Storytimes & Fall Programs for Young People

The fall lineup of programs for young people are underway and include - 

  • Weekly Storytime programs every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with stories, songs, and activities featuring favorite children's themes and fun for hands-on early learning.
  • Weekly Mathtastic programs - which feature games, activities, and books highlighting math concepts - every Wednesday from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
  • Weekly Block & Roll and the Lego Room every Saturday from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.  Hundreds of blocks and lively music make for a morning of building fun.  Must be elementary age (5+) to play in the Lego Room.  (Block & Roll will not be held during special events.)
  • Kappa Saturday Harvest Celebration on Saturday, October 18, at 1:00 p.m.
  • Born to Read Community Baby Shower on Saturday, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. 
  • Walla Walla Youth Symphony on Wednesday, November 5, at 3:30 p.m.
  • Mom's Network Reading Room on Saturday, December 6, at 10:00 a.m.

CrewSpace class offerings

The October - December 2014 CrewSpace Media Lab class schedule includes:

  • Movies in Context on Mondays from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.  The Library is closed on Mondays but the CrewSpace media lab will be open for this offering.
  • Beatmaking on Tuesdays from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.
  • The iOS Life on Tuesdays from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
  • Computer Stew on Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
  • Making the Most of iPhoto on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.

All classes are free with your Walla Walla Public Library card.  For more information about these classes and to register visit the CrewSpace website at www.crewspaceww.com and click on the current offerings tab.


Nonresident cards are a bargain!

If you are a nonresident you are paying the same amount that City residents pay through their taxes. Make sure you have the best card around!  Nonresident cards are $68 for 1 year or $34 for 6 months.
