Big Idea Talks: Sources of Inspiration

Written by Published in Library News

The spring series of Big Idea Talks continues on April 30 at 7:00 p.m. with a program presented by Linda Andrews, Jennifer Boyden, Janice King, and Nance Van Winckel.  Four poets share the often surprising sources of their poems, from neuropsychology, guide books of favorite cities, lichen identification, coroner reports, cereal boxes, graffiti - and myriad other sources - come the lines that eventually culminate into poems, sometimes decades after their first encounter.

Come hear the talk and enjoy the discussion.

Upcoming programs include:

  • How to Write a Novel In Only 30 Years with Shawn Wong on May 14 at 7:00 p.m.
  • My Hanford: A Personal History with Kathleen Flenniken on May 28 at 7:00 p.m.

More information on all these programs is available at the Library.
