We will be converting our Board Room into a beautiful state-of-the-art technology lab for teens thanks to the Paul G Allen Family Foundation. It will offer opportunities for creativity; communicating ideas and stories through film and photography and music; enhancing job skills and so much more. While aimed at teens, we’ll have something for everybody. Construction planning is underway!
We are happy to announce that our County friends can still use the Library in 2013. We’ll be offering a household card for $68 annually or $34 semi-annually. The City Council approved it unanimously. The fee is based on the average household cost for a city resident. In previous years WWPL service to County residents has been provided through a contract but the Rural Library District has decided to build a new library rather than contract with the WWPL for 2013. The nonresident card will be available on January 2nd.
