We are happy to announce that our County friends can still use the Library in 2013. We’ll be offering a household card for $68 annually or $34 semi-annually. The City Council approved it unanimously. The fee is based on the average household cost for a city resident. In previous years WWPL service to County residents has been provided through a contract but the Rural Library District has decided to build a new library rather than contract with the WWPL for 2013. The nonresident card will be available on January 2nd.

Borrowing eBooks and audiobooks from the library just got a whole lot easier for users of the NOOK HD, NOOK HD+, NOOK Tablet and NOOK Color. Barnes & Noble added the OverDrive/Washington Anytime Library Media Console app to the NOOK Apps™ storefront. This NOOK app enables users to wirelessly borrow eBooks and MP3 audiobooks from the library.
