The Red Badge project helps veterans tell their stories. Workshops will be held on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Saturday workshops are from 10am-noon and 1-3pm. To register or for more information call Beth Hudson at 524-4433 or contact your VA health team.

Warren Etheredge helps student storytellers realize the value of their unique stories. Learn how to listen, read, and write your story. You'll go back to basics: first listening to stories, then learning how to read again, and finally, writing stories.

You'll be able to call yourself both a reader and a writer.

At the end of the class, you will know why you've chosen a certain book to read and you'll be able to talk about a story you have read.

Red Badge Project Workshops: Tap Into Your Emotions and Tell Engaging Stories

The Red Badge project helps veterans tell their stories. Workshops will be held on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Saturday workshops are from 10am-noon and 1-3pm. To register or for more information call Beth Hudson at 524-4433 or contact your VA heath team.

Instructor Brian McDonald begins this workshop with a series of improvisational exercises designed to help you feel comfortable stepping outside of the norm and opening up to the possibilities of discovery through self-exploration. In addition to basic story structure, you'll be introduced to the concept of Invisible Ink. We call it Invisible Ink because it isn't always apparent, but underneath the words on paper, is the sincere reason why we tell stories.
