Community Reads: Address the Stress series, 1st book pickup/No discussion

Walla Walla Public Library and Walla Walla Valley Blue Zones Project invite all community members to join us for the 2023 Community Reads program this autumn for a community-wide shared reading experience, “Address the Stress!” Monthly discussion groups will be held at the Walla Walla Public Library, 238 E. Alder Street in Walla Walla.

Together we'll read three books from September 2023-January 2024 and come together for monthly discussions led by professionals examining how stress, loneliness, and happiness influence our daily lives. Twenty copies of each title will be available for checkout at the Walla Walla Public Library during the month prior to that book’s discussion group; participants are invited to join us for one, two, or all three discussion groups.

Twenty copies of the book “Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle,” by Emily Nagoski, PhD, will be available for checkout. The discussion group for this book will meet: Thursday, October 19th, 7:00-8:00 PM
