Public Briefing — City of Walla Walla Tax Increment Area

The City of Walla Walla will hold a public briefing on March 6, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Walla Walla City Hall, 15 N. 3rd Ave., on the tax increment financing of the public improvements in the proposed City of Walla Walla Tax Increment Area. The proposed TIA is centered around Myra Road.
The funding of a TIA is from the increased property taxes from the new development within the TIA and the impact is primarily on the other taxing districts. A detailed projection of impacts on other local governments is shown in the Draft Report on the City of Walla Walla TIA located on the City website.
