Wildfire Fire Readiness in SE Washington: Be Prepared!

New residents to the Walla Walla Valley may not know the history of fire risk in this semi-arid area. Learn some of the history as well as the best ways to prepare your house, property and family for what many news outlets say may be a very busy fire season.

The program speaker is Patrick Purcell, Coordinator, Walla Walla County Emergency Management. This Big Idea Talks "What You Need to Know" program is sponsored by the American Association of University Women in partnership with the Library.

A dessert reception will be held at 6:30 PM, the program begins at 7:00.  You are welcome to bring adult guests.
