WALLA WALLA — The City will close Highland Road from the west end of Southview Drive to the east end of Southview from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. on June 18, 19 and 20, while City crews perform paving work as part of the Domino’s Paving for Pizza event.

On Thursday, June 20, the Walla Walla Domino’s franchise is partnering with the City, and plans to have a variety of fun activities for the entire family starting at 11 a.m.

The public is invited to come out for free samples of pizza and Coke products, a pizza-eating contest, giveaways and more. Attendees may also watch the Street crew in action as they lay down the final lift of new asphalt to make pizza delivery a safer journey, and talk with City staff about current and future road projects.
