CANCELED Big Idea Talks with Genie Huntemann

Join us for the last in a series of Big Idea Talks programs on the theme of Resilience As a Process.  Resilience is represented in a variety of ways in many different books.

Genie Huntemann will present the memoir Educated by Tara Westover. In this memoir, the author relates her experience leaving an isolated, abusive, survivalist family to pursue education.

Genie is an English Teacher at Lincoln High School and has appeared in Paper Tigers. She has presented around the country and Canada on trauma informed education.

A dessert reception will be held at 6:30 p.m., the program begins at 7:00. You are welcome to bring adult guests.
