Take Back Event

The Walla Walla Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit, in partnership with Walla Walla Area Crime Watch and the College Place Police Department, is planning the largest TAKE BACK Event ever held in our area.

This Take Back Weekend will include:

  • The DEA sponsored Drug Take Back with a separate sharps bin available to take household needles and lancets.
  • Price Computers will be on hand to take your discarded computer or electronics for safe disposal.
  • A Shred Truck will be on site sponsored by GESA Credit Union and Blue Mountain Credit Union. Crime Watch missed out on 2 separate fundraising opportunities last year due to COVID and will be staffed with volunteers to make up for it! Please come out to support WWACW with a monetary donation and protect your personal information and destroy your confidential documents!
  • A Junk Tire Disposal is offered to Walla Walla County residents only! Hours of operation are from 10-4 or until the trailer fills to capacity - at both locations! Each household is limited to 16 tires only! NO RIMS! No BUSINESSES, NO FARM TIRES or SEMI-TRUCK TIRES.

Due to COVID restrictions, please place take back items in the trunk of your vehicle or in the bed of your pickup. Volunteers will be standing by to grab your items for you.

For more information, please contact Crime Prevention Coordinator Vicki Ruley at 509-520-3735.
