Garden-In-A-Bag Available for Pickup

  • Date: -
  • Location: Walla Walla Public Library
    238 E Alder St.
    Walla Walla, Washington 99362
  • Introduction: Ready to get out of the house and into the sunshine, digging in the dirt? Just in time for spring, Walla Walla Public Library will distribute organic vegetable seeds March 5th-May 7th.

You're invited to build a Garden-In-A-Bag of 3-5 assorted seed packets, along with recycled newspaper pots and plenty of great gardening reads! All-organic seeds from Adaptive Seeds include vegetables, herbs, and flowers; send a photo of yourself gardening with your seeds to wwpl@wallawallawa.gov to be entered in the drawing for one of two garden-themed prize baskets. Fresh seeds are here and ready to plant in your garden! For tips and tricks to make sure your seeds thrive, visit the WWPL catalog for a list of gardening-related titles available for checkout.

Come put together your Garden-In-A-Bag during regular open hours; if you need to arrange a curbside pickup of a Garden-In-A-Bag, or for more information, please call 509-527-4550 or email wwpl@wallawallawa.gov.
